A cold front is shifting northwards the Adriatic whereas a ridge of high is intensifying from the northwest.

In the Central and South, during the afternoon briefly in the North Adriatic NW and SW winds 6-16 knots. In the North, towards late in the day and in the Central Adriatic NE wind 8-18, in the North Adriatic still intially locally up to 22 knots. The sea 1-2, in the open sea and in the Central Adriatic 2-3. Visibility of about 20 km. Mostly clear, in the North Adriatic, during the afternoon also elsewhere, stronger increase of cloudiness with likely rain and rain showers with thunder, mainly along the coast.

Light to moderate, in the North and Central Adriatic locally fresh, at foot of Velebit strong and of near gale force NE wind.
