A ridge of high is intensifying from the northwest towards the Adriatic.

NE wind, in the open sea also NW 10-20, locally up to 24 knots. In the North Adriatic NW and SW winds 4-14, still initially along the coast locally up to 18 knots. The sea 2-3, in the open of the Central and in the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Fine to fair skies, till evening mostly clear skies.

In the North Adriatic mainly calm, elsewhere light to moderate, locally fresh NW wind, along the coast also NE, during the morning gradually decreasing. The sea calm or smooth in the North Adriatic, elsewhere slight, still initially in the open of the South Adriatic possibly moderate. Mostly clear skies.
