Occasional gusts of NE and N, in the open sea of NW wind 35-50, in the North Adriatic up to 60, at the foot of Velebit up to 70, from the middle of the night up to 80 knots. Tomorrow occasional gusts of SE wind 35-40 knots in the South Adriatic. In the evening and at night the sea possibly 5 in the open of the North and Central Adriatic. A risk of isolated thunderstorms.

To the north of the Adriatic a frontal system is shifting to the east, a ridge of a high is intensifying from the north while a low with a frontal system keeps staying southwards of Sicily.

NE wind 14-28, locally in the North Adriatic up to 34, at the foot of Velebit up to 38 knots but will locally turn to N, in the open sea also to NW wind. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic the winds will temporarily turn to SW and SE 10-20 knots. The sea 2-3, locally 4, particularly in the open. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and likely rain showers with thunder. A risk of some sleet or wind driven snow along the coast.

Moderate to strong, locally in the North Adriatic near gale, at the foot of Velebit gale and strong gale NE wind, locally turning to N, in the open sea also to NW wind. From the middle of the night moderate to strong SE wind in the South Adriatic. The sea slight and moderate, possibly rough in the open of the North and Central Adriatic. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and likely rain showers with thunder. A risk of some sleet or wind driven snow along the coast.
