A ridge of a high is gradually intensifying from the northwest across the Adriatic.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW wind increasing to 6-16, in the Central and South Adriatic to 10-20, in the afternoon up to 24 knots. At night, first along the coast the wind will turn to NE 10-20, locally up to 24 knots, westwards and northwards of Istria 6-16 knots. The sea 2-3, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear skies but in the afternoon with some increased cloudiness locally along the coast of the North Adriatic there is a low risk of rain.

Moderate to fresh, locally strong NE wind, westwards and northwards of Istria light, only in some places also moderate. Still initially in the open sea light to moderate, in the Central and South Adriatic moderate to fresh NW wind. The sea smooth to slight, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic and at the foot of Velebit also moderate. Mostly clear skies.
