A ridge of high is gradually intensifying from the west and northwest. A cold front is being shifted across the Adriatic whereas a humid and unstable air circulates at high altitudes.

NW wind 10-20, in the South and Central Adriatic locally up to 28 knots, locally will turn to NE and N winds, particularly along the coast. The sea 2-3, in the South and Central Adriatic locally 4, particularly in the open. Visibility 10-20 km, locally reduced to about 4 km due to rain, in the far north due to mist. Variably cloudy with scattered rain. More intense rain showers with thunder are also likely, particularly in the open sea.

Moderate to strong, in the morning at foot of Biokovo possibly of near gale force NE and N winds, in the open sea and still initially also along the coast NW wind. The sea smooth to slight, in the South and Central Adriatic locally also moderate. Variably cloudy. In the far south and still initially also elsewhere likely rain or isolated rain showers with thunder. During the night gradual ceasing of precipitation. In the far south of the Adriatic visibility might be reduced due to rain.
