In the open sea of the south and central Adriatic gusts of NW winds, tomorrow during the night and in the morning in the Velebit Channel gusts of bora, 35-40 kn. A risk of thunderstorms. Over the extreme north of the Adriatic, fog is possible with visibility locally below 200 m.

A low with a frontal system is shifting form the Tyrrhenian towards Ionian Sea. Tomorrow westwards from Italy new lows are being formed.

Northwest und north winds, locally west winds as well, 6–16 knots, occasionally up to 20 knots. In the open sea of the central and south Adriatic, northwest wind temporarily up to 24 knots. Over the north Adriatic and along the coast, winds will veer to bora; initially over the south and parts of the central Adriatic, southeast and east winds 6–16 knots. Late in the evening in the Velebit Channel, bora 10–20 knots. Sea state 2–3, locally 4 in the south and parts of the central Adriatic, especially in the open sea. Visibility 10–20 km, locally around 4 km due to mist and rain; in the extreme north below 1 km due to fog, locally even below 200 m. Mostly cloudy with occasional rain; showers and thunderstorms possible.

Light to moderate northwest wind, in the open sea locally fresh; over the south Adriatic, a strong northwest wind is temporarily possible. Towards midday, winds will locally veer to west and southwest, while along the coast they will turn to light to moderate bora, locally fresh below the Velebit. Sea state smooth to slight, locally moderate in the south Adriatic. Variably cloudy with occasional rain; showers and thunderstorms possible. Local mist possible; over the extreme north of the Adriatic, fog is possible with visibility below 200 m.
