| Abstract | AdriaMORE Project is one in the series of trans border cooperation projects among Italy and Croatia (INTERREG) in which DHMZ participates. The project subject is strengthening a joint monitoring and weather and flooding forecast for Adriatic coastal region in the case of extreme weather and flood events. It is intention to be improved existing observation and forecasting system of weather and hydrological phenomena as a support for protections of human life and their goods over the Adriatic. Within the DHMZ component of the Project a purchase of widprofiler is planned and its installation at Dubrovnik weather station including availability meteorological and hydrological data for the project. |
| Objective of the project | A main goal of AdriaMORE project is strengthening a joint monitoring and weather and flooding forecast for Adriatic coastal region in the case of extreme weather and floods. Thus, a goal is to be improved existing observation observation and forecasting system as a support for recue and protection system on Adriatic. |
