A field of high is gradually increasing across the Adriatic whereas a weakened frontal system keeps staying in the northeast.

NW and W winds, occasionally SW 6-16 knots, from midday in the South and parts of the Central Adriatic locally up to 20 knots. Initially, calm or variable winds of 4-10 knots along the coast. Sea 1-2, possibly 3 in some places. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, with occasional increased cloudiness there is a possibility of scattered rain or some rain showers with thunder, particularly along the coast.
