AIR TEMPERATURE ANOMALIES FOR CROATIA IN AUTUMN 2018.

Average air temperatures on the seasonal scale (autumn) at the all analyzed stations were above the multi-annual average 1961 - 1990. Corresponding air temperature anomalies for autumn (September, October, November) 2018 were within the range from 1.2 °C to 2.5 °C.

According to percentile ranks and classification ratings, thermal conditions in Croatia for autumn 2018 have been classified by the following categories: warm (the wider area of the town of Daruvar), extremely warm (the wider area of the city of Zagreb, the wider areas of the towns of Bjelovar, Rijeka and Zadar as well as the part of the Southern Adriatic) and very warm (the rest of Croatia).


PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS FOR CROATIA IN AUTUMN 2018.

An analysis of precipitation amounts for autumn 2018 given in percentages (%) of 1961 - 1990 average, shows that these precipitation amounts were mainly below the mentioned average. Corresponding precipitation amounts for autumn 2018 were within the range from 41 % to 126 % of the multi-annual average for this season.

According to percentile ranks and classification ratings, precipitation amounts for autumn 2018 have been described by the following categories: extremely dry (the wider area of the town of Slavonski Brod), very dry (part of Eastern Croatia), dry (part of North - Western Croatia, Central Croatia, part of North - Eastern Croatia as well as part of the Middle and Southern Adriatic), wet (the wider area of the town of Dubrovnik) and normal (the rest of Croatia).
