CroWeather 1.0.3
(MIDlet for Java enabled mobile devices)
Purpose:
It is intended to provide up-to-date information about weather in Croatia
as well as weather forecasts for a following day. The information this
MIDlet provides is the latest weather forecast made by forecasters at Meteorological
and Hydrological Service.
Intended users:
Every person that owns a Java enabled mobile device and wants to know
about the weather in Croatia can enjoy the benefits of this program.
CroWeather
can easily be downloaded to any Java enabled mobile device and provide
actual weather forecast in a matter of seconds.

Main menu
To perform this presentation
J2METM Wireless Toolkit 1.0.4 is
used. After starting up the MIDlet the user can choose between following
options:
ActualData - displays current weather situation in a selected city
Forecast - displays general forecast for the Adriatic sea; data are available in
four languages (English, Croatian, German and Italian)
PicToday - displays graphical
image of today's weather forecast in a selected region
PicTomorrow - displays graphical
image of the weather forecast for the next day
About - displays information
about the program version, authors etc.
An option is chosen by pressing
Launch button.

On selecting ActualData
another list of options appear (picture 2.1). Here are listed all the cities
with available current weather situation*. The first city in
the list is automatically selected.
By using Down button (picture
2.2) one can navigate to the city of his/her interest.
To select the city
press Confirmation button (picture 2.3).
After the selection press
Get button (picture 2.4). This results in textual description of
current weather situation (picture 3).
You can navigate through the text using Down and Up buttons
or exit it by pressing Back.

* At this moment weather forecasts are available only for 28 cities,
but in next versions this list will expand.

| Option Forecast contains warning, synopsis
and weather forecast for the first and next 12 hours
for the Adriatic sea. This forecast is available in 4 languages. Therefore, one
must first choose between English, Croatian, German and Italian (picture 4.1).
Press Get and textual weather forecast
for the Adriatic see is displayed (picture 4.2 and 4.3).
The German version is shown on picture 4.4. Use Down
and Up to navigate through the text or Back to return to
the previous menu.

In PicToday one can choose to display grafical image of
today's weather forecast for one of 6 croatian regions (picture 5.2).
After
pressing Get following image appears (picture 5.3).

PicTomorrow displays graphical image of
weather forecast for the next day.
One can choose between 6 regions (picture 6.2) and gets the image (picture 6.3)

About
At the end of the main menu stands (of course) About.
By selecting About one can learn basic information
about the program,
like the full name and version and who created it.
