EURASAP TRAVEL GRANT

The EURASAP travel fund provides financial assistance for scientists to participate in workshops/conferences that are co-organized or supported by EURASAP. The support is intended to scientists from European countries in transition and PhD students who would otherwise be unable to attend the workshop or conference. The applicant should have a paper accepted for oral or poster presentation at the workshop/conference. A travel grant is intended as a contribution to defray travel and living expenses and the registration fee in connection with the participation in the workshop/conference, and do not necessarily cover all expenses. It is typically not exceeding 800 EURO. PhD students should include a recommendation from their advisor/professor.

An expert who has been awarded a grant is requested to contribute with a report or article to the EURASAP Newsletter with relation to the conference/workshop, details should be arranged with the EURASAP Newsletter editor.

All practical arrangements connected with the travel and the participation in the conference/workshop should be done by the participant. Payment of the EURASAP contribution will be done to the expert at the conference, or by bank transfer. When receiving the payment the expert will sign a document of receipt and we also need a copy of the page in the passport with personal details, and copies of receipts of major expenses.

If you are interested in applying for a EURASAP grant, please email harmo12@harmo.org before June 1, including your contact details and the reference number and title of your paper (subject Eurasap grant).

You agree that the application will be circulated to the Committee members of EURASAP.
